Perhaps the bigger takeaway from the Surface Pro 7 is what it means for Microsoft’s Surface range as a whole. What you see here is the hybrid product you expect and it’s a very likeable computer at that. This was my second and now last ever Surface product.ĮDIT - And by the way this isn’t something from just today, I’ve been trying in vain to contact Microsoft Support for days.Just as iPad has become a byword for tablets and Sonos has done the same for wireless speakers, Surface Pro sits alone as a hybrid computer worth considering, even if this year’s additions of a new processor and some added ports don’t exactly make it much of a game-changer. If I even get through to these people I don't even trust sending it out for repair now, if they lose it I guess that's it BECAUSE I CAN'T CONTACT THEM. I can't even get the $200 I wasted on Microsoft Complete back. This has been more infuriating than dealing with Dell support, at least they have a damn way to contact them. Pop-up blocker is off, just nothing happens. I go to this link, I get to the bottom to contact an agent after trying to type in several different strings, and the page just does nothing. The whole reason I bought the warranty was so I have easy access to support for longer, but no matter what I can't contact them.įirst I tried calling, everything is automated, and it says all support has moved online. I also purchased a Complete plan to go along with it, and I realized now that the warranty date is incorrect, it only has the end date of the standard warranty. I decided I'd rather get rid of it because it was starting to frustrate me for other reasons anyway, but I want to get it fixed because nobody is interested in buying it off me because of that. I bought a Surface Pro 7 a few months ago and it randomly gained a dead pixel.
